Moments In Time
"I have now listened to Alex & Nilusha for a month since receiving their album. The album has not left my cd player and I love it! The rhythms by Alex are very exciting, bringing me straight to the heart of South America while taking me on a tour around the world in an ethnically authentic way.  Deep and touching while funky and groovy, appropriate to every song and bringing an addictive sound that I have to listen to day after day, one melting pot that is delicious to the heart of rhythm lovers. Nilusha's voice, which I hear now for the first time is ‘pure velvet’,  warm, loving, emotionally captivating, musically enchanting and soul touching, a must for jazz, world and Latin music lovers. Well done Alex & Nilusha!"
Hossam Ramzy — Internationally acclaimed Egyptian Percussionist

ABC Radio National - The Music Show
"That was sensational, I thoroughly enjoyed these pieces, world class!"

"The Melbourne support act, Alex & Nilusha was a good choice to open the show. Also drawing on many cultural sources for inspiration – jazz, Indian and Brazilian – the group had a similar lineup to Richard Bona’s and fine musical versatility."
Carol Middleton — Australian Stage

"I was lucky enough to notice a poster for a one-night only show featuring Richard Bona and his group, presenting their latest Ten Shades of the Blues album. It was a must see, and frankly, it was an awesome performance, and surprisingly enough, the support act was absolutely amazing. They simply swept me off my feet. They were, Alex & Nilusha! Highly recommended."
